Status of Environment Report for the State of Assam

1. The 1st Official document on State of Environment Assam 2004 was released by the Hon’ble Chief Minister on 14th December 2006.
2. A one-hour Video Documentation of the Environmental issues of the state complete covering rivers and wetlands, erosion hazard, char formation, agriculture, flood, draught and climate, wildlife, pollution related issues including the largest river island in the world - Majuli.
3. A CD on the State of the Environment produced.
4. The up gradation of the contents for the SoE website is in progress.
5. The SoE Photo Album is in progress
6. Phase - II Report on Status of Environment is in progress.
