1. This is a one-year scheme supported Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of Assam implemented during 2011-2012 under Popularization of Science.
2. A modern cactus house of 200 sq m size has been constructed at Assam Bio-Resource Centre, Madan Kamdev
3. Different species of cactus have been collected and introduced to the Cactus house
4. Propagation of different cactus species is continued.
