1. This is a one-year scheme supported Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of Assam implemented during 2010-2011 under Popularization of Science.
2. Collection of indigenous rice varieties with proper documentation done.
3. Characterization of the collected indigenous varieties complete.
4. A series of training and workshop for conservation of Agro-biodiversity in Assam were conducted involvinf progressive farmers.
