1. State Level World Environment Day-2009 observed at Guwahati on 5th June in collaboration with Environment & Forests Department of Govt. of Assam and Assam Pollution Control Board.
2. State Level Function for Distribution of TV and DVD Players to all the development Blocks was organised at ITA, Machkhowa during the month of September, 2009.
3. State Level Orientation Workshop on Microorganisms: Let Us Observe and Learn’ organised in collaboration with Botanical Hobby Centre, Department of Botany, Cotton College, Guwahati during 9th – 11th November, 2009.
4. Foundation Laying Ceremony of Jorhat Science Centre cum Planetarium held during November, 2009 at Jorhat.
5. Ceremonial Release Function of Parivesh Vijnan Abhidhaan: An Anglo-Assamese Dictionary on Environment Terminologies held at Guwahati on 4th February, 2010.
6. A Jana Vigyan Mela was organised from 5-7 February, 2010 at Baihata Chariali in collaboration with Pub-Kamrup College, Baihata Chariali.
7. ‘Entrepreneurship Development Programme’ in Biotechnology organized in association with Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL), New Delhi at Guwahati during February 10 – 13, 2010.
8. A series of Teacher Orientation Workshops were held at different places in Assam during 2009 & 2010.
9. ‘State level orientation programme for District Coordinators, District Academic Coordinators and District Resource Teachers of National Children’s Science Congress 2011, Assam’ held at A.C. Dutta Bhawan, Dept. of Botany, Cotton College on 27.03.2011.
