1. The National Children's Science Congress is a nation-wide programme for the children of the age group of 10 - 17 years implemented since 1993 catalysed and supported by NCSTC, DST, Govt. of India.
2. A District Organising Committee is constituted for each district for every year to conduct District Level Event of NCSC in Assam.
3. District Level NCSC programmes have been organised in all the districts of Assam by the respective District Organising Committee.
4. 10 - 12 projects are selected in the District Level Event to present the project by group a of children of 2 - 5 numbers in the State Level Event.
5. A State Organising Committee is constituted for every year to conduct State Level Event of NCSC.
6. State level event of NCSC programme has been organised by the State Organising Committee.
